Log the set. Beat last time.

Gymsmith is a progressive overload tracker for the weight room. Every set is pre-filled with what you lifted last time, so logging takes one tap, and a rest timer counts down and beeps when it is time to lift again. Your estimated 1RM climbs on a chart. No account, no internet, no limit on workouts.

Get it on Google Play

Free with ads: unlimited workouts, routines and history, the rest timer and the all-time 1RM chart, free forever. Gymsmith Pro removes ads and adds smart progression rules, plate math with warm-up sets, muscle-balance analytics, body measurements, PDF export, widgets and themes. Choose yearly with a 3-day free trial, monthly, or a one-time lifetime purchase.

01

Unlimited, and it stays free

No cap on workouts, routines, custom exercises or history. Last time's numbers, the rest timer, PRs and the all-time 1RM chart are free, and any feature that is free today stays free.

02

Log a set in one tap

Each set starts with the weight and reps from last time. Tap ✓ to accept, or tap “+2.5 kg” first. Steppers and the app's own number pad mean the system keyboard never opens.

03

Works in the basement

Offline from the first launch, with no account and no sign-up screen. Each set is saved the moment you tick it, so if the app is closed or the battery dies, your workout is waiting under “Resume workout”.

04

A rest timer that beeps

The timer starts by itself after every set and keeps exact time with the screen off. It beeps loudly through headphones, lowering your music instead of stopping it, and it still sounds when the phone is on vibrate. Use −15, +15 or Skip to adjust.

05

Your 1RM, charted

Gymsmith estimates your one-rep max (Epley or Brzycki), records your PRs and draws an all-time e1RM line for every exercise, so you can see whether your progressive overload is working.

06

Built for tired hands

The workout screen is dark and high-contrast, with big numbers and large buttons. Use kg or lb, import and export CSV, and keep your own .gymsmith backup file.

Gymsmith is a training log. It is not medical advice. Consult a professional before starting a new program, and train within your limits.
